Vehicular Accident May Result to Death

On our way home traversing EDSA just near Quezon Avenue, a jaywalking guy was hit by a motorcycle on the left side of our vehicle.  Inside the car, my father said "Patay yan! [He'll be dead!]"  Luckily, we had our windows close to protect us from flying articles of incident.  It was like watching Mission Impossible in real time -- I felt it was a slow motion picture and was sure that the jaywalking guy will be hit.The jaywalking guy was hit as a bowling pin, while the motorcycle guy flew on the side.  Having enough energy, the jaywalking guy continued to play patintero with the passing buses.  If he did not get up immediately, maybe he will be double whammed.  We don't know what happened after. After that, we reached Commonwealth Avenue.  Another highway where people just springing out of nowhere crossing the street and be hit by vehicles.Foot bridges have been provided to secure one's life, why can't this kind of  people just stop playing the game of death?  …

While Actress Sees Kappa ByHerself [Jibun Dake Kappa Ga Mietara]

Do you remember the comedians interviewing some people then suddenly got shot?  Here is a new prank played on an actress. They went to a place where Kappa is seen. The prank is only the actress can see and hear the Kappa. I was laughing so hard, but somehow felt bad for making her really scared.See how she handled it. via japanprobe.comPosted via web from Elmer's World!「エルマー の 世界!」

Windows 7 Fails on TV Demo

Last October 22, Microsoft released Windows 7.  It has many new functions like the multi-touch function.  I have saw this function been demo in other videos out there. But in Japan, Windows 7 failed on a television demo.I started laughing, when the man started saying "kouyatte ...nandedaro"  while touching the touch-panel LCD.  And I burst out when the LCD continued not to react and asked helped. "Onesan sumimasen".  One of the anchor also commented an instance where the Windows 7 failed them before on a television demo too.via japanprobe.comSo, in case I would be getting a Windows 7, maybe I should invest for a touch-panel LCD.Posted via web from Elmer's World!「エルマー の 世界!」

Welcome and Sayonara Party Combined

It is nice to have a good dinner with the people you work with. This is our Sayonara Party for Jacy and Welcome Party for us the newbies. The newbies have shared their thank yous and wishes for the company. While I practiced my enhanced Nihongo skills, this was my speech: 「みんなさん、どうもありがとうございました。よろしくお願いします。」 I wanted to say more, but I was out of words. :PSee the full gallery on posterous Posted via email from Elmer's World!「エルマー の 世界!」

Live in Japan for More Than A Year (Continuously)

Life After The B.O.E is a nice site for editorial comics about JET Programme.I was thinking about the comic below.  "Will I be also doing the things that I might only do in Japan after living there for more than a year continuously?"via http://lifeaftertheboe.com/Posted via web from Elmer's World!「エルマー の 世界!」

Aki Yashiro Transforms To Prank Shin Koda

This a good prank.  Aki Yakishiro transforms to play as a foreign judge together with Shin Koda.  Assuming that Aki was a foreigner, he didn't know that she was very good in singing enka and speaking nihongo. I was laughing hard at the video where she went to Harajuku.  And some believe in her transformation to be very beautiful.  And the stunned face of Shin Koda rocks.via japanprobe,.comClip #1Clip #2Posted via web from Elmer's World!「エルマー の 世界!」

Here is one of my favorite songs in the afternoon, to keep my beat.
Body Language Jesse McCartney featuring T-PainOoo, that body's like music to my ear
Ooo, that body's like music to my ear
Ooo, that body's like music to my ear
'Cause what you want is right hereOh she, oh she so international
The way, the way she get it on the floor

But the way that body's talkin' definitely makes sense
It's her, her body, her body, her body language
It's her, her body, her body, her body language

Kamui Gaiden: Another Shinobi Film

The last good Shinobi film I watched before was "Shinobi: Blade Under Heart".Kamui Gaiden is a new Shinobi film.  This film is based on a manga "The Legend of Kamui".  The film was released last September 2009. I want to watch this movie.  I wonder if it is still on the cinemas in Japan.  Maybe I will be just buying a DVD again.Official Site:

Count Up #10

I remember what our director told us yesterday. "Please bring your passports next week", she said. Maybe this is the sign we have been waiting. :P I have so many dreams, one is to have my own restaurant. Hopefully with my job, I can save money for capital.See the full gallery on posterous Posted via email from Elmer's World!「エルマー の 世界!」

It's a good a feeling to see how people learn with the help of others. It's like the new seedlings trying to live with the help of man (e.g. watering, etc.). Problems can not be solved in an instant, solutions are learned step-by-step. As you learn more, you become an expert. :P This day was also a fun day. I had a nice chat with Kat and Em on our way home.See the full gallery on posterous Posted via email from Elmer's World!「エルマー の 世界!」

I was not really in the genki-state. So I just try to speak or talk when needed. When lunchtime came, I said to my lunchmates as we enter the elevator, "Doko e taberun desu ka?". Our Sensei was with us during that time. Then suddenly he spoke up, "Doko DE taberun desu ka?" Everyone was laughing and I just corrected my statement. After that I tried not speak in Nihongo for a while. After lunchtime, Em asked me, "Genki desu ka?". I answered "Genki ja nai. Demo daijoubu." Then I became genki for the a while. :P This was also the day Em celebrated her birthday. Mostly people in the office were teasing her to treat everyone for a snack. And she did. Thank you for the ice creams. Posted via email from Elmer's World!「エルマー の 世界!」

Count Up #7

I thought I will have nothing to post for tonight. Luckily something different happened this afternoon. We doing our daily technical tasks in the office, when suddenly a power interruption happened. Was it a black out? No. The other office did not encounter any interruptions. The UPS are starting to act crazy, doing their BOOM BOOM AW sounds. The place was getting hotter because the air conditioner was also out. This is the fan I used to make myself comfortable. What is happening? I remember the ghost story and thought it was like a scene from a movie (Maybe Patient X. :P) After a while, the real problem was found. There was an overloading which resulted to malfunctioning of the electricity. Going back, I remember no one had plugged-in any devices. Now I wonder more.Posted via email from Elmer's World!「エルマー の 世界!」

Count Up #6

As day passes, I am running out of subject to take a picture of. :p Today, our suggested change in schedule was realized. We will help in the morning, and continue with our ongoing tasks in the afternoon. We saw our friends in Jollibee, so we decided to take our lunch at McDonald's. I had double Cheeseburger and a spaghetti. This afternoon, we were reminded to keep our body healthy. And then I remembered the muscle man in the burger's box. Am I eating healthy or blinded by the cheese?Posted via email from Elmer's World!「エルマー の 世界!」

Count Up #5

We had our lunch at our favorite Chicken Fast-food Restaurant. I always buy a *something* bowl and a salad. Today's salad was not enjoyable, because I saw this tomato. I wonder if it is not fresh or not nicely cut. Today was also the day I together with Karlo started helping another project. Hopefully we can be the help they need. Still counting up.Posted via email from Elmer's World!「エルマー の 世界!」

The old aquarium has been alive again with these simple fishes and kangkong. Today, I and my youngest sister, saw our other sister on "the Buzz" show. She was there for their Advertising class. We were laughing out loud. Tonight is also the opening of the "Pinoy Big Brother Double Up". What shall we expect with this new show?Posted via email from Elmer's World!「エルマー の 世界!」

This morning, it seems Pepeng has already changed track. For breakfast, I have cracked an egg. Not satisfied with just a plain egg and salt, I cooked a soup. Adding the bread and rice, now my breakfast is complete. Since, it seems there is no longer rain, we ordered pizza for dinner. To be different, my sister ordered a sausage stuffed pizza.See the full gallery on posterous Posted via email from Elmer's World!「エルマー の 世界!」
